Key Features of the Cybersecurity Laboratory

The Cybersecurity Laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with high-performance computing systems, dedicated security servers, and enterprise-grade network infrastructure designed to simulate real-world cyber environments. The lab operates 24x7 with high-speed internet connectivity and smart interactive boards, providing an ideal ecosystem for students and researchers to conduct security analysis, penetration testing, and digital forensics investigations.

The Department, under its Centre of Excellence (CoE) initiative with Fortinet, has received access to international cybersecurity datasets and tools through academic collaborations with reputed global institutions. These resources enable students to gain hands-on experience in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating modern cyber threats.

Currently, several innovative projects are being implemented in the lab alongside regular course practicals, including:

Network Traffic Analysis and Intrusion Detection using AI

Phishing Website Detection through Machine Learning Models

Malware Behavior Analysis and Classification

IoT Device Vulnerability Assessment and Hardening

Digital Forensics for Incident Response and Evidence Collection

The Cybersecurity Laboratory at Sanjivani University serves as a practical innovation hub, empowering students to explore, experiment, and excel in protecting digital ecosystems from evolving cyber threats.
